പത്ര ഏജന്റുമാരുടെ സമരം - salute to chithrakaran

ഹ്സ്കൈളിൽ വേനലവധിക്കാലത്തു ഞാനും പത്രമിടാൻ പൊവുമായിരുന്നു. നൂറു പത്രം ക്രുത്യമായി വിതരണം ചെയ്താൽ രണ്ടര രൂപ ദിവസെന തരുമായിരുന്ന പത്രമുത്തശ്ശിയുടെ ഏജന്റ്.  പട്ടികളുള്ള വീട്ടിൽ പത്രം കൊണ്ടു പൊകാൻ ഇത്തിരി പേടി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു എങ്കിലും  സൈക്കിൾ ചവിട്ടി പലപ്പൊഴും രക്ഷ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.  ഇന്നത്തെ പോലെ ഗേറ്റിൽ പി വി സി പൈപ്പു വച്ചു അതിന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ പത്രം നനയാതെ വക്കുന്ന സൂത്രം ഒന്നും അന്നു കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല.

ഒരു പുരുഷന്റെ സുവർണ കാലം അവനു സമ്പാദ്യം നൽകുന്ന (വരുമാന മാർഗം) ജോലി കിട്ടിയതിനു ശേഷം അവന്റെ വിവാഹം ആവുന്നതു വരെ മാത്രം!
...
അതു പൊലെ ഒരു സ്ത്രീയുടെ നല്ല സമയം അവളുടെ വിവാഹത്തിനു ശേഷം ആദ്യത്തെ കുട്ടി ജനിക്കുന്നതു വരെയും !...
